What the calculators store
Nothing. The puppy weight calculator and the dog pregnancy calculator run in your browser, and the age, weight, breed or dates you enter are not sent to the site or stored anywhere. Reloading the page clears them.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics sets cookies beginning _ga on your device and records the page you visited, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and your browser and device type. Google’s handling of that data is described in Google’s privacy policy.
No advertising or remarketing features are enabled, and the data is not shared with anyone other than Google as the processor of the analytics service.
Hosting and caching
The site is hosted by Hostinger and served through Cloudflare. Both keep standard server logs, which include your IP address, the pages requested and the time, for security and performance. Cloudflare may set a short-lived cookie to tell browsers from automated traffic.
What the site does not have
- No user accounts, sign-ups or newsletters.
- No comment forms.
- No advertising networks, affiliate links or third-party trackers other than Google Analytics.
- No embedded social media widgets.
Embedding the calculator
The embeddable calculator loads from this site inside another site’s page. When it does, the same analytics and server logging apply to that frame as to a visit here, and the embedding site’s own privacy policy applies to the rest of the page.
Your choices
Blocking cookies in your browser, or using an ad or tracker blocker, stops Google Analytics without affecting anything the site does; the calculators and charts work the same either way.
